I have been afforded the opportunity to provide furnishings for the new St. John Fisher Chapel of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill, NC and the Mother Teresa Catholic Church in Cary, NC. The design theme for the Fisher Chapel project came from an old picture of the altar from the original church, to which the design team wanted to pay homage. The Mother Teresa furnishings were to bring in a more Gothic presence into the worship space.
Another project was to build a display case for Antioch Baptist Church in Chapel Hill. Being a congregation over 200 years old, there are many objects from the church's past they would like to remember and celebrate. The design chosen for the case I believe helped to create that feeling of time and of having always been a part of the church.
Worked with staff to design and create the sanctuary furnishings for the St. John Fisher Chapel of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Chapel Hill.
Also part of the STM furnishings include an ossuary and accomodating tables
The design of the chapel furnishings incorporated elements from the original STM Sanctuary to tie the new to the old.
